Generally speaking, it is possible to install fibre optic broadband in Spain for around 30 euros per month, including VAT. When you add mobile lines, the average cost rises to 40 euros per month. And the figure rises if you want to increase the speed of the fibre or contract sports, series, cinema channels or streaming services such as Netflix. We review the most basic offers from Movistar, Orange, Vodafone, MásMóvil, Jazztel and Pepephone:

Movistar Fusión 0: internet and mobile contract for 58 euros a month

The most affordable Movistar Fusión tariff is Fusión 0 de 300 mb, which includes 300 megabytes of broadband, unlimited calls from the landline to other landlines, the line fee, two mobile lines that add up to 20GB of data (one of them with 200 minutes of calls and the other with free calls, but you do pay a 40 cents call set-up fee).

As for television, it includes DTT channels and the exclusive Movistar+ channels #0 and #vamos, while it gives away a mobile phone (although it is not a high-end one). Among the free handsets are the OPPO A15 and the Xiaomi Redmi 9, all for 58 euros per month (VAT included).

Orange: 20Mb ADSL or 600 Mb fibre for 30.95 euros per month

The best offer that Orange currently has is 20Mb ADSL, whose price is 30.95 euros per month, VAT included, only for new customers. In addition to internet, it includes the line fee, landline and 1,000 minutes of calls from landline to mobile. However, it is not compatible with Orange TV.

For the same price, Orange offers 600Mb fibre optic, after reducing it by 10 euros/month. It also includes the line fee, calls to other landlines and 1,000 minutes to call mobiles. It is also not compatible with Orange TV.

The operator's most outstanding offer that includes internet and mobile is Orange Love Lite. It includes 300Mb broadband internet, unlimited mobile calls and 5GB of data, and offers free handsets. It has the possibility to add up to four mobile lines and costs 22.98 euros per month, VAT included, although only for three months. After three months, the price rises to 45.95 euros including VAT.

Vodafone: 300Mb fibre for 30.99 euros per month

The British operator's most affordable internet tariff is Vodafone Fibra 300Mbps, which costs 30.99 euros per month, including taxes. It includes broadband internet and unlimited calls from the landline. It also currently has a promotion that offers the same features, but 600Mb broadband internet for 30.99 euros per month for the first three months. After that, the price rises to 42.99 euros per month, VAT included. This is Vodafone Fibra 600Mbps.

In the case of packs that include internet at home and mobile contracts, the most attractive offer due to its low price is Vodafone One Ilimitada, which includes 300Mbps symmetrical fibre, unlimited mobile calls and data and an additional free line for one year, with 200 free minutes to call and 4GB of data. This offer requires a one-year commitment and costs 26.99 euros per month, VAT included, for the first three months. After the fourth month, the price rises to 54.99 euros per month. After the first year, the price rises to 64.98 euros per month, VAT included, for the cost of the second mobile line.

MásMóvil: 100Mb fibre or ADLS for 29.99 euros per month

The operator's most affordable home internet tariff is the 100Mb symmetrical fibre or ADSL for 29.99 euros per month, VAT included. It includes the line fee, unlimited calls to other landlines and 60 minutes per month in calls to mobiles.

It also has an offer for the same price with 600Mb fibre, although from the fourth month of the contract, the monthly price rises to 39.99 euros per month, including taxes. And for the same cost, you can also contract the pack that includes internet and mobile.

Specifically, it has a 100Mb fibre tariff, unlimited mobile calls and 20GB of data and a second free mobile line with unlimited calls and 3GB of data. All this for 39.99 euros per month, including the line fee and three free months of the DAZN channel. In the case of 600Mb fibre, this tariff costs 39.99 euros per month for the first three months, and then it goes up to 49.99 euros per month (price including VAT).

Jazztel: 100Mb fibre for 28.95 euros per month

This operator has one of the most outstanding offers on the market for those looking for internet at home. It offers 100Mb fibre for 28.95 euros per month, VAT included. This price already includes the line fee, but not the landline calls, which have call establishment plus the corresponding cost per minute. And it requires a one-year permanence period. It is also possible to contract 600Mb fibre without including calls from the landline for 29.95 euros per month.

If we include the internet and mobile, the packs become more expensive. Specifically, it has a 100Mb fibre tariff and a mobile line with unlimited calls and 20GB of data for 39.95 euros per month, including VAT and the line fee, as well as unlimited calls from the landline. It is also possible to contract this tariff with two mobile lines, each with unlimited calls and 10GB of data. With 600 Mb fibre and the same conditions for the mobile (one line with more data or two, with less), the monthly price is 47.95 euros per month, including line fee and taxes.

Pepephone: 300Mb fibre for 29 euros per month

The famous virtual operator, which is part of the MasMóvil Group, is in the middle of the market with a tariff that offers 300Mb symmetrical fibre for 29 euros per month. The price includes VAT, has no permanence and does not include a landline.

It also has the Fibre + Mobile 10GB tariff, which also has no permanence. This combined package includes 300Mb fibre, a mobile line with unlimited calls and 10GB of cumulative data for 38.90 euros per month, including taxes.  More mobile lines can be added for 5 euros per month each (the price would be 43.90 euros per month with two, for example). Within Pepephone's offer, it is also possible to contract a fibre, mobile and electricity package. Called Tarifa Inimitable ECO, the cost starts at 45.90 euros per month (VAT included), with electricity sourced 100% from green energy.
